I just noticed on the homepage that it looks like I'm the only one who writes blogs.  haha

This summer has been a busy summer, but it's been totally blessed by God.  To sum things up and make it very short...God blessed Kristen and I with a house, my brother Josh got married, I had my 10 year high school reunion, and Kristen's photography business has been picking up speed.  Check out her stuff at Adobe Images.

Please be praying for my wife (Kristen) and I.  We've been trying to get a house, but the approval process has been a bumpy road.  We really feel like this is the specific house that God wants us to have.  We really want it too because it would be a great place for us to raise kids (once we have them) and it would be the perfect place for us to host our Life Group.  Anyway, God has created the deal of a lifetime for us to get this house and we're doing our best to trust Him for favor with the mortgage company to get completely approved.

One of the good things about waiting to close on the house is that I was able to help my brother get our apartment because he was having trouble finding a place.  Since he was able to get in right when we were getting out, the manager didn't charge us for breaking the lease because we were "model residents."

Another good thing about waiting is that my mother-in-law has so graciously let us stay at her house in the mean time so we're saving money while we're waiting.
